IS THIS ANOTHER CASE OF VIRGIN LIES?
Subject: BREACH OF VERBAL CONTRACT

To make this story short my family and I traveled to Florida on 17 September 1999. We were delayed for 10 hours. Every hour we were told that we should depart very soon.
When a number of us complained at the desk, two VIRGIN staff offered a compensation deal to us which was a 50% discount off our next VIRGIN HOLIDAY, very generous.
On our departure we were given a letter confirming 50% discount on the FLIGHT only. We were advised by VIRGIN staff of the error. We were told that we would get an amended letter on our return to England. Guess What? We never did. We have all been in contact with VIRGIN CUSTOMER RELATIONS who have said this was offered in error and that the staff who offered the compensation have been disciplined and re-trained. Thatís little comfort, we are still fighting on.
